I met with my doctor for the first time on Tuesday. She's really nice, and experienced! She has 25 years experience delivering babies.
I got my blood checked as well, for iron deficiency and for the regular stuff that you get done when you're pregnant. If my iron is low, they'll call me. If not, I'll just find out the results when I go in on the 17th.
The doctors here don't give you an ultrasound at 10 weeks. There is a study going on called the Safer Study. It detects down syndrome and any spinal defects. You get your blood tested at 13 and 16 weeks and you also get an ultrasound. We're thinking of signing up for this study.

There is usually an exercise and pregnancy study at Queen's too - if you're looking for extra cash you should sign up!
I think you have to be pregnant for the first time for the exercise and pregnancy study.
